Hi, I'm Kim, a hypnotherapist and coach

I support big-hearted women like you, who give so much to everyone else, to gently and powerfully navigate the emotional ups, downs and life changes that occur throughout mid-life, especially in menopause.

Coupled with the sneaking suspicion that no one seems to listen to you anymore or even take you seriously, is it any wonder that you feel invisible with a life that’s ground to a halt.

For over a decade I've been helping all sorts of lovely women make changes to their lives, particularly around managing stress and anxiety.

In mid-life, especially when experiencing menopause, these feelings can cause women to falter, often showing up as:

Starting to experience fear around driving when previously they had been happy to jump in the car and go wherever they chose 

Noticing they are making excuses over and over as to why they can’t accept an  invitation to go out

Struggling to complete something familiar because for some reason they’re suddenly not sure what to do

Finding themselves often unable to express themselves without becoming tearful

Somewhere along the line, feeling as though they’ve lost themselves..

My own experience of perimenopause pretty much toppled me initially with a wave of anxiety..

BUT as time went on, I realised this was happening to other women too...

I kept seeing more and more capable, brilliant mid-life women dragging themselves through each day full of tears and frustration, wondering what the hell was happening.

The more soul searching I did, and the more women I spoke to, the more I had a dawning realisation of what a powerful catalyst for change midlife is.

It creates a 'rumble' inside that you just can't ignore, shining a spotlight on what is no longer serving you well.

Utilising the skills I already had, I threw myself into research and training. 

Now postmenopause, I'm here to support other women through this extraordinary time helping them go from stressed, tearful and fed up to having unshakeable self-belief and confidence. 

Time to liberate yourself..

You need to know menopause is not the end of everything. It's where you get to fire up for your next chapter.

I love inspiring women to challenge outdated perceptions of age (often their own), and to realise they have so much more to do.

And let’s just acknowledge here that wherever the word ‘hypnosis’ is mentioned, myths and misconceptions will surely follow. Our media often portrays hypnosis as magical, where someone else ‘makes’ you do something. As a hypnotherapist, the work I do is all around YOU reclaiming your power: from those racing thoughts, uncomfortable feelings, from outgrown habits.

We work together 1-2-1 online, using the gentle, natural practice of hypnotherapy carefully blended with coaching, and all tailored specifically around what YOU need.  You're then free to discover how to achieve much-needed clarity, feel more balanced and learn to unlock your confidence.

Without ever needing to leave the sanctuary of your own home, you’ll get the space and time to relax, to consider what’s important to you now and explore what you’d like your life to be as you move forward.

Here's what's important to me..

My biggest driver is my daughter. I'm on a mission to ensure that she, along with the next generation of women, feels confident to approach her midlife and menopause with curiosity and kindness, because they deserve to.

There should be no fear around growth, and I firmly believe this starts right here with us. We have a unique opportunity to change a narrative that has become outdated and unnecessary.

It’s important to me that I do things simply, and in a way that calms the soul. We don’t have to fill our time with lots of complicated tasks or be busy constantly, in order to live a life that feels wonderful.

I work from a place of abundance and I want to share that with you.

Get to know me better..

I’m proud mum to a daughter, who’s just become a paediatric nurse, and wife to my lovely husband

I consider myself to be a happy introvert. I love being with those I care about very much,  and I don’t miss out on parties, concerts and so on. I sometimes need a small nudge to get there, and I like to take a little while after to recharge myself  

Walking outside in nature feeds my soul, and I love to encourage the women I work with to do the same. I will never shut up about how incredible the great outdoors is, plus happening upon a new cafe or farm shop makes me ridiculously cheerful. 

I’m currently training for a trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, in 2025. I’ve never done anything like it and it’s way outside my comfort zone. I can’t wait

I adore dogs, and our house has felt pretty empty since we lost our gorgeous Springer Spaniel, Dave a couple of years ago. Once we get back from Nepal we plan to change that and adopt a couple of rescue spaniels

I love baking and had a brief detour into making celebration cakes. I quickly realised I preferred eating them to creating them so these days I just do them occasionally for family and friends. My Chocolate Mud Cake is divine.

I'm a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Coach Practitioner. I'm registered with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, appearing on the General Hypnotherapy Register, and am bound by their Code of Ethics. I am fully insured.
